About the role:

Reporting into the Senior Project Manager this role is a project-focused position where your primary responsibility will be ensuring a smooth and accurate transition of data to the new system. You will be instrumental in the initial critical phase of the implementation.

Your duties will initially focus on:

• Leading and executing data migration activities from the existing system to the new HR and Payroll platform
• Conducting data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Working closely with the Payroll and HR teams, as well as external system vendors, to understand data requirements and mapping
• Identifying, documenting, and escalating any data discrepancies or issues encountered during the migration process

Should the role be extended, your duties would shift to include:

• Developing and executing comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and scenarios
• Managing and resolving defects identified during the testing phases
• Providing post-implementation hypercare support

About you:

• Demonstrable experience as a Payroll Business Analyst or a Senior Payroll Specialist with significant exposure to system implementation projects
• Experience with large-scale payroll data migration and validation (essential)
• High level of proficiency with complex spreadsheets
• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• A confident communicator, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Full and unlimited Australian working rights
