About the role

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated, self-driven and highly organized Pastrycook to be part of their growing team. You will be responsible in creating, baking, and decorating a diverse selection of pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing and baking a diverse range of pastries, cakes, and other baked items based on recipes and customer specifications.
• Ensuring all products meet high standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Working closely with the kitchen team to streamline production and improve workflow efficiency.
• Assisting with inventory management and placing orders for required supplies.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or special requests.
• Collaborating with the Pastry chef and other culinary staff to plan menus.
• Managing pastry orders and accommodating any special requests.
• Hiring, training, and overseeing the pastry team while ensuring adherence to food industry standards.
• Organizing work schedules and maintaining accurate records for the pastry section.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000-$95,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
