About the Position:
The Pastrycook position at Routleys (VIC) Pty Ltd involves crafting high-quality pastries, cakes, and baked goods in a fast-paced, HACCP-certified bakery environment. This full-time role requires creativity, precision, and a passion for delivering fresh, delicious products to meet the demands of wholesale and catering clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to Routleys’ recipes and standards.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with HACCP food safety standards.
Assist in developing new pastry recipes and product innovations.
Collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily production and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications: Minimum Certificate IV in Patisserie.
Required Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in a commercial bakery or patisserie setting.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking processes.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
