About
Wild Bakery (Whales World Part 1 Pty Ltd) is seeking an additional Senior Pastry Cook to join its team in Inglewood on a full-time basis, commencing as soon as possible.
What is required:
· Certificate IV in Patisserie
· At least three years of full-time professional experience as a Pastry Cook
· With a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a craft and artisanal baking environment
· Strong pastry and sweet knowledge
· Organisational and communication skills
· Problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
· Willingness to work in a dynamic and growing business
· Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
Your responsibilities:
· Preparing and baking a wide variety of goods such as macarons, cakes, brownies, and tarts
· Determining production levels for the next day
· Ensuring ingredients and material are of acceptable quality
· Creating new desserts to renew the menu and engage interest of customers
· Monitoring oven temperatures and products appearances to determine baking times
· Assisting in maintaining inventory
· Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations
· Ensuring the equipment and premises are clean prior to starting the baking process.

Position: Full-time
Annual Salary: $76,515 + superannuation – 38 hours per week.
