We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media & Email Marketing Assistant to support our marketing efforts. This part-time role requires approximately 7 hours per week, focusing on content creation, scheduling posts, and managing email campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of social media platforms and email marketing tools, and be able to analyse engagement metrics to optimise our strategies. Our Brand: Ember Noire is a Sydney-based natural self-care brand (candles, interior mists, pulse-point rollers). Your weekly tasks: • Design & schedule 3–4 social posts (Canva templates provided, but you’ll adapt/create assets to stay brand-aligned) • Edit 1–2 reels (CapCut/Canva cutdowns from footage we provide) • Draft & send 1 bi-weekly email in Shopify Email (template + copy guidance provided) • Light community admin (DM replies, reposts, brand rep coordination) • Weekly metrics snapshot (reach, saves, email clicks) Tools you should already know: • Canva (confident use of templates + light design tweaks) • CapCut (basic reel editing) • Shopify Email & Flow (we’ll train on brand guidelines, flows already set up) • Buffer/Later for scheduling • ChatGPT for caption/idea drafting Requirements: • Must overlap with Sydney daytime (AEST) for a few hours each week • Strong Canva/CapCut portfolio — please attach samples of posts/reels created in the last 90 days • Clear written English for captions and email drafts • Looking for a long-term role (not one-off gigs) How to apply: • Start your proposal with the word “Rose Era” • Attach 2 Canva posts + 1 reel you created recently • Include one short email draft or campaign you worked on (or a mock-up) If you are passionate about digital marketing and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!
