- About the Role
- Dentons Australia is currently seeking a highly experienced career Paralegal to join our dynamic and expanding Recovery & Restructuring team in Brisbane. This is a fantastic full-time, permanent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
- In this role, you’ll manage your own portfolio of files and work on behalf of leading Australian banks and non-bank lenders in both secured and unsecured recovery matters. You’ll also work closely with senior lawyers, with a strong focus on compliance and quality assurance.
- Key Responsibilities
- Managing files from commencement through to completion
- Preparing and issuing legal documentation, including statutory notices and court forms
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication via specialised online portals
- Handling inbound and outbound calls with defaulting customers, often discussing sensitive financial matters to find appropriate solutions
- Collaborating with lawyers to progress matters through the courts
- What You’ll Need to Succeed

- Highly organised, with excellent drafting skills and sharp attention to detail
- Confident managing a high-volume workload and consistently meeting deadlines
- A clear communicator, both in writing and over the phone, especially when handling sensitive client interactions
- Self-motivated, proactive, and professional in approach
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment
