Our client, RJA Painting and Decoration Pty Ltd, is seeking a skilled Painting Trades Worker to join their team. The role involves carrying out a variety of painting and decorating tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have proven experience in surface preparation, application techniques, and safe use of tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Job Responsibility:
• Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes to protect, maintain and decorate surfaces of buildings and structures

Duties:
• Paint the interiors of apartments, condos, units, townhouses and other multi-household buildings as required
• Work with other construction professionals, such as carpenters, electricians and plumbers, to prepare units for lease
• Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures and landscaping
• Collaborate with other professional painters on larger jobs
• Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure you complete each project in an efficient, timely manner
• Match paint samples for touch-ups and other small projects
• Meet with property managers to discuss colour and finish options as well as other design details for leasing spaces

Qualification:
• AQF Certificate IV or Higher
• 1-2 years of experience in related field

Salary:
• $75,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation
