The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services on residential and commercial projects. Candidates with additional carpentry knowledge will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
? Prepare, clean and sand surfaces prior to painting.
? Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative finishes.
? Mix and match paint colours to achieve the required finish.
? Carry out minor carpentry tasks as needed to prepare and repair surfaces.
? Safely use hand and power tools.
? Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety standards.
? Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
? Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent).
? At least 3 years of proven experience in painting and decorating.
? Carpentry knowledge and practical experience are essential.
? Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
