About

• Perform interior and exterior painting for residential, commercial, and strata buildings.
• Prepare surfaces including patching, sanding, scraping, filling, priming, and repairing defects.
• Apply top-coat finishes using rollers, brushes, and spray equipment (where required).
• Deliver high-quality workmanship on walls, ceilings, trims, common areas, and refurbishment projects.
• Work on real estate turnover jobs (end-of-lease touch-ups, rapid make-good painting).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work environment in occupied and high-traffic areas.
• Communicate professionally with site supervisors, clients, strata managers, and real estate teams.
• Follow WHS protocols, including safe use of ladders, equipment, and PPE.
• Complete work within allocated timeframes and meet quality benchmarks set by Skilled Work Pty Ltd.
• Provide own tools, transport, and required safety gear.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have:
• Painter’s Licence (NSW)
• White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Full Public Liability Insurance (min. $10M)
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience across:
o Residential painting
o Commercial buildings
o Strata complexes
o Real estate & property management work
• Strong skills in patching, gyprock repair, surface preparation, and finishing.
• Ability to work independently as a subcontractor (ABN required).
• Own vehicle and full set of painting tools.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in CBD high-rise and inner-city environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to clean, tidy, professional workmanship.
