We are looking for a Painter to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and finishing work across residential and/or commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Bells Creek, QLD.

Main tasks:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Match colours and finishes according to specifications
- Protect surrounding areas and ensure a clean and safe worksite
- Quality control of the preparation to the finishing product
- Maintenance of the tools and machinery
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

- Minimum of a relevant Certificate III qualification plus minimum 1 year’ relevant work experience.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to read and follow job specifications
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Ability to communicate clearly with Clients and staff
- Ability to lead a job and a team on a daily basis.

Annual salary will be between $76,000.00 to $86,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
