Overview:

At Project CS we offer professional plastering and painting services. Specializing in collaborations with builders and insurance companies.

We are looking for a Painter to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, treating and applying paint, varnish and other finishes to internal and external surfaces of residential, commercial or industrial buildings. The role ensures high-quality finishes while maintaining safety and compliance with relevant standards. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Newstead, QLD.

Main tasks:

- Internal and external painting across residential, commercial, and insurance works.
- Complete all preparation work including sanding, filling, patching, caulking, masking, and surface protection.
- Carry out patch & paint repairs.
- Perform touch-ups, defect rectification, and final detailing to a high standard.
- Maintain high-quality finishes, clean work areas, and professional presentation on every site.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

- Proven experience as a Painter (minimum 2 years).
- Trade qualification (Certificate III) is an advantage.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

- Experience in insurance repairs highly regarded.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality finishing.
- Must have own vehicle and driver’s licence.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional presentation.

Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
