Tradies Combined Pty Ltd is a well-established Sydney-based company specialising in commercial fit-outs, facility maintenance, and construction and renovation projects. Since 2014, we have delivered a wide range of services, including demolition, bespoke carpentry, road line marking, residential renovations, commercial upgrades, and ongoing property maintenance. Our clients include residential homeowners, commercial facilities, and major retailers, with recent works including renovation projects for Woolworths’ warehouse.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Painter to join our growing team. This role involves carrying out high-quality painting, finishing, and surface preparation across various residential and commercial sites throughout NSW. Key Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, filling holes, repairing cracks, and patching damaged areas
• Apply primers, sealers, undercoats, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Mix, match, and select paint colours to meet project specifications
• Perform minor plastering, patching, and surface restoration where required
• Protect fixtures, fittings, and surrounding areas using appropriate coverings and masking techniques
• Read and interpret job instructions, plans, and specifications
• Ensure all work meets quality, durability, and safety standards
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks within agreed timeframes
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements
• Relevant qualification
• Minimum 1 year of professional painting experience (residential or commercial)
• Strong understanding of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing methods
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, plans, and materials lists
• Skilled in using painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and sanders
• Good attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work
• Current driver’s licence (essential)
• White Card (preferred)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
