On behalf of ROHY’s Painting Pty Ltd, an established company based in Dural, NSW 2158, we are conducting a search for a dedicated and skilled Painter. With over two decades of industry experience, ROHY’s Painting has earned recognition for delivering professional and high-quality solutions in painting and property maintenance. Our services include residential and commercial painting, as well as industrial coatings. We provide specialised applications such as fireproof coatings, epoxy flooring, waterproof sealants and wallpaper installation and removal. We are now seeking to expand our team with a skilled professional who can contribute to our ongoing success.

Current Opening:

This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).

Position Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Prepare and clean surfaces by removing old paint, wallpaper and debris, repairing cracks and imperfections and sanding or sealing as required.
• Select, mix and match paints and finishes to achieve specified colours and textures in accordance with client requirements.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains and protective coatings to interior and exterior surfaces of residential, commercial and industrial properties using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
• Carry out specialised applications such as fireproof coatings, epoxy flooring systems, waterproof sealants and protective industrial finishes.
• Install and remove wallpaper, ensuring patterns are accurately aligned and edges are neatly trimmed.
• Safely handle and maintain painting tools, spray equipment and other machinery, ensuring proper storage and cleaning after use.
• Protect adjacent surfaces and furnishings by erecting scaffolding, masking and covering work areas before applying finishes.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and work orders to determine surface preparation and finishing requirements.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with supervisors, team members and clients to ensure high-quality finishes are delivered within project deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks throughout and after application to ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

- AQF Certificate III, AQF Certificate IV or relevant qualification
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
- Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools.
- Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities.
- Great attention on details.
- Able to work efficiently with and without supervision.
- Well versed in maintenance, cleaning and debris removal tasks.

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
