About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at WONDER KIDS OT' in South - Eastern of Melbourne, Victoria. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our local community.

Fresh Graduates are also Welcome.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs and goals

Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each client's unique requirements

Collaborate with families, educators and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care

Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed

Maintain detailed client records and contribute to the overall clinical documentation

Participate in team meetings, in-service training and professional development activities

Advocate for clients and their families, ensuring access to appropriate resources and support

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a paediatric or community-based setting

Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on child development

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build rapport with clients and their families

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families

Valid Australian driver's licence and access to own vehicle

Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
