We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Operator to support the upkeep of our busy packing shed.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the packing line and supporting systems to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include
• Assisting with startup procedures on the different production lines.
• Complete packhouse line checks and fix and document problems as they arise.
• Ability to quickly problem solve and troubleshoot issues.
• Scheduled servicing on machinery when due.
• Maintaining spare parts inventory.
• Ordering parts from suppliers using our internal software systems and following Moonrocks purchasing procedures.
• Assisting the maintenance team on breakdowns.
• Assisting with training the line operators.

Skills and Experience

Understanding of a packing line operation, running repairs and maintenance and knowledge of supporting systems – knowledge of MaintainX program is a bonus.
Exceptional organizational skills and have a Strong understanding of WHS practices.
Be presentable, physically fit and healthy and have clean and tidy habits.
Forklift experience a bonus.
You will have a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role
