Outdoor Furniture Builder – Full Time (4 Day Week)

About the Role

Big Event Picnic Tables is looking for a hands-on Outdoor Furniture Builder to join our growing team. You’ll be part of our manufacturing crew, building high-quality timber furniture used at Australia’s biggest festivals, community events, and commercial spaces.

This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with timber, tools, and machinery – and seeing the results of their work make a difference at events across the country.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building outdoor timber furniture (picnic tables, benches, beer garden sets, high bars, pallet furniture)

Using saws, drills, sanders, and other woodworking tools

Painting, staining, and finishing timber products

Working as part of a team to meet production schedules

Occasionally helping with on-site event builds (great variety – not stuck in the warehouse all day)

Optional overtime during peak event season

What We’re Looking For

Carpentry / woodworking experience preferred

Comfortable using power tools and working in a safe, efficient manner

Team player with a strong work ethic – “getting your hands dirty” is part of our culture

Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality workmanship
