Fitzroy North Eye Centre is a patient-focused behavioural optometry practice dedicated to delivering exceptional clinical care and personalised service. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and people-oriented Optical Dispenser to join our friendly team.

About the Role

As our Optical Dispenser, you will play a key role supporting both our patients and our optometrists. Your responsibilities will include:

Guiding patients in selecting frames and lenses tailored to their visual needs and lifestyle

Providing expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame suitability

Conducting frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings

Coordinating orders and liaising with optical laboratories

Performing reception duties including booking appointments and managing patient enquiries

Maintaining a tidy, organised, and welcoming practice environment

Supporting the smooth daily operations of the clinic

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

An experienced Optical Dispenser (qualification preferred but not essential)

Confident in lens product knowledge and frame styling

Friendly, professional, and committed to high-quality patient care

Comfortable working in a fast-paced but supportive team environment

Strong with communication, organisation, and attention to detail

Interested in ongoing training and developing clinical optical skills
