Autolift Garage Doors & Gates is a Sydney-based specialist in garage door and automated gate installation, repairs and servicing, with over 45 years of industry experience. The company supplies and installs quality residential, commercial and custom access solutions across NSW, supported by ongoing maintenance services.
As an Operations Manager at Autolift Garage Doors & Gates, you will oversee daily operational activities across installation, servicing and repair divisions. The role involves coordinating technical teams, managing suppliers and inventory, ensuring compliance with safety and building standards, and driving efficient project delivery across residential and commercial works. This position requires strong leadership, organisational and operational management skills.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Plan, direct and coordinate the installation, servicing and maintenance operations of garage doors and automated gate systems.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve workflow efficiency and service delivery.
• Monitor project schedules, allocate resources and supervise installation technicians to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Manage procurement of garage door components, motors, gate automation systems and related materials to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Review operational performance, analyse service data and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Oversee compliance with Australian safety standards, electrical regulations and building codes relevant to automated access systems.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and customers to ensure seamless project coordination and high levels of client satisfaction.
• Prepare operational budgets, control costs and monitor financial performance of installation and service divisions.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff including installers, technicians and administrative personnel.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Relevant qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an Operations Manager
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage budgets and operational performance
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 – $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
