We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Operational Specialist to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team in Bungalora and Mullumbimby, NSW on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Team Leader - Directlink, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems. This includes ensuring the safety and reliability of these systems, diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, and complying with industry regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities Ensure Operations and Maintenance Preventative and Corrective maintenance activities are performed in line with the APA Asset Management Plans Perform High Voltage Operating activities on APA assets Investigate and report operational faults and events to determine and document the root causes of faults and then implement remedial actions. Coordinate work activities and resourcing to ensure effective management of Operations and Maintenance tasks Undertake “on-call” duties for up to 18 weeks a year Undertake duties as directed by the Team Leader from time to time Your background Detailed knowledge of High Voltage, PLC and SCADA systems Ability to undertake root cause analysis and repair asset related faults Effective time management, planning and prioritisation skills Strong Communications skills, capable of developing and maintaining working relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Collaborative Team participation with demonstrated ability to contribute to the total effectiveness of a team High level of computer literacy with demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office together with the skills to learn software programs such as Maximo. About the Team The Directlink operations team is a small, highly skilled group within APA, responsible for maintaining HVDC assets located in Bungalora and Mullumbimby, NSW.
