About the Position
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office and support the effective running of the business. The role involves managing administrative functions, coordinating staff, maintaining compliance, and ensuring efficient office services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and community-focused wholesale business.
Key Responsibilities
Contributing to the planning and review of office services, setting priorities and service standards
Allocating human resources, space, and equipment to meet business needs
Assigning work to and monitoring staff performance
Managing office records and accounts
Liaising with professionals to coordinate office business and resolve operational issues
Overseeing maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards
Ensuring work practices comply with relevant government legislation, policies, and procedures
Coordinating HR activities including recruitment, promotions, payroll, training, and performance management
Requirements
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply
Qualifications: Minimum Diploma in business, administration, or related field
Experience: At least 1 year of relevant office management or administration experience
Strong organisational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in office software and record-keeping systems
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of compliance, workplace health and safety, and HR procedures
