The role is a key part of the Network Technology Team who are continually shaping and developing how we facilitate and support the core and customer network for the ASX. The Network Technology Team are responsible for delivery of high quality, reliable and secured network connectivity for the ASX. Looking after the Data centre network, Internet environments, Network security and service provider network infrastructure. What you’ll do Strong capability on reviewing, staging and deployment of Firewall Policy. Uphold and adhere to Network security policies and procedures guidelines. Troubleshooting with pcap, debugging on the traffic flow in application layer. Technology skill- Palo alto Firewall, Panaroma, Cisco ASA, Algosec and routing/switch. Liaise between the customer, stakeholders and infrastructure to provide innovative solutions Understand ASX core network, including Datacentre Network, Internet, Office to deliver and maintain Firewall Security Policy. Contributing to procedural documentation and knowledge base as required. Assist in the deployment of networks to support ASX and backend projects. Improve on proactivity and ensure all of processes are being reviewed to ensure efficiency Responding to incoming support incidents What you’ve done Experience working on network routing technologies Experience in delivering and supporting large scale networks Experience working on Palo, Cisco ASA technologies and Algosec. Influenced and negotiated with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes Directly interfaced with non-technical customers Experience working with and maintaining mission critical networks Knowledge of Arista, Cisco and Cumulus networking technologies EVPN, VRF, MPLS, NAT, QoS and VPN knowledge Strong understanding on ITIL framework And if you’ve got some of this, even better: Knowledge and support of F5 Network monitoring Tertiary degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications.
