Based in Wangara, we are a close knit team with a strong focus on safety and production, and are currently seeking a Full Time qualified HFC/RF Network Telecommunications Technician/Technologist to work in our Telecommunications company.

The main duties for the position of a HFC/RF Network Telecommunications Technician/Technologist (313214) are:

Interpret and provide construction plans and splice schematics
Termination of CX50, CX75, RG6 and RG 11 connectors
RF alignment and commissioning
Fault finding and restoration of RF networks
Coordinating with carrier provider to close out faults and outages

Qualifications required for this position:

NBN Telecommunications Technician/Technologist - HFC qualifications
Cert 3 in Telecommunications
ACMA Restricted & Open
Cable hauling
Pit and pipe experience advantageous.

The successful applicants will require the following:

White card and current police clearance
Manual Drivers License
Current First Aid
Attention to detail and good hand tool skills
Must be reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic
A Drug & Alcohol test will be required before commencing employment.

Salary for this position starting from $76,515 pa
