Motorcycle Mechanic

Mack 1 Kawasaki is looking for a full-time experienced Motorcycle Mechanic to join their business.
Location: 9 Buckingham Drive Wangara WA 6065
Position: Full-time
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting and identifying issues with electrical and mechanical components in new and used Motorcycles, Mules and Quad Bikes.
• Performing routine servicing for new and used motorcycles, Mules and Quad Bikes.
• Evaluating the condition of vehicle parts by disassembling engines, steering, and other mechanisms before removing them.
• Reconstructing mechanical systems after replacing or fixing faulty and damaged parts, consulting repair guides as necessary
• Conducting routine service checks, like engine tuning, lubrication, and oil servicing, to improve vehicle function and meet emission standards
• Assembling repaired engine components and parts
• Fine-tuning and evaluating mechanical components to ensure they function correctly post-repair
• Utilizing digital tools to test and analyse parts for diagnostic purposes
• Checking motorcycles for roadworthiness and possibly providing certificates or laying out required repairs for compliance
• Managing and Training Apprentice mechanics and trades assistants.

Requirements
• Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
• The right candidate will have at least 1 year of experience
• Ability to manage people
• Ability to schedule and coordinate work and parts required.
• Ability to work independently

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
