ICBM SERVICES PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic for our client's auto repair and mechanic service provider across NSW, WA in Australia. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.

Title: Motor Mechanic, Full- time position
Salary: A$ 85,000.00 to 95,000.00 plus super
Work Location: In person.

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following:
Requirements

• Certificate 3 including 2 years’ experience or Certificate 4 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology/Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis
• Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic for at least 2 years.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, engines, transmissions and other mechanical components.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify problems.
• Capability to carry out repairs on various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks and motorcycles.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
• knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
• Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections to assess the condition of a vehicle and identify any potential issues. This involves checking all major systems, including the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
• Problem Diagnosis: Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using specialized tools and techniques. This includes using computerized equipment to read fault codes from the vehicle's onboard computer, as well as performing manual tests to assess the condition of various components.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition. This can range from simple tasks like changing oil and filters to more complex jobs like rebuilding engines or replacing entire transmission systems.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed on vehicles. This includes performing routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding the condition of their vehicles and the work required, providing clear and professional advice.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Parts Management: Order and manage automotive parts inventory to ensure availability for repairs and maintenance.
