Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.?
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and Repair: Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and related components.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection and repair.
• Maintenance Services: Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
• Reassembly and Testing: Reassemble engines and parts after repair, and test and adjust mechanical parts to ensure proper performance.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining technical issues and repairs to clients, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
• Education: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
• Experience: Proven experience in motor mechanics, with a strong background in servicing various vehicle makes and models.
• Experience with hybrid vehicles is advantageous.
• Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools, strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
