Our client, Eurojap Autowerks, is looking for a highly skilled Motor Mechanic to work on a full-time basis. The workshop is located in Ravenhall, Victoria 3023.

The offered salary for the sought Motor Mechanic role ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues and malfunctions within vehicle engines and their components.
• Disassemble and extract various vehicle systems and parts, including engine assemblies, transmissions, and steering mechanisms.
• Identify and replace faulty or worn-out parts with new ones.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups.
• Reassemble engines and their components after completing repairs, ensuring all parts are properly aligned and secured for optimal performance.
• Perform thorough testing of repaired mechanical parts to ensure they function correctly.
• Utilise computerised diagnostic equipment to test and evaluate vehicle parts. Interpret the data to pinpoint issues and verify the condition and performance of various components.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to assess their overall condition and safety.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all services performed, repairs made, and parts replaced.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain the nature of vehicle issues, the repairs needed, and the expected outcomes.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:
• Must possess an AQF Certificate III or IV in Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Working rights required for this role.
• Australian citizens or permanent residents are preferred.
