Mechanic
Ulandra has 4 positions available as a Motor Mechanic and/or Diesel Fitter in our Lakeland properties.
We are a banana, avocado and mushrooms grower located in Lakeland, Far North Queensland, running a busy workshop and 3 packing houses.
We are looking for reliable and loyal staff to be part of our team.
Qualifications & Skills
• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or similar areas
• Minimum 2 years of work experience
• Good communication skills
• Work well in a team
• Must hold an Australian Licence (manual, minimum HR)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
You must have completed a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (MEM30205) specialising in diesel fitting, or similar area.
Your duties will be, but not limited to:
• Inspect, repair and service diesel engines.
• Inspect and repair a wide range of vehicles and machinery, including cars, buses, trucks, small engines and farm equipment.
• You may perform a wide range of tasks, from routine maintenance to full engine overhauls or rebuilds.
• Maintain workshop facility clean and tidy.
• Put away, maintain and organise the spare parts area.
• Schedule and organise service for all farm fleet.
• Complete and maintain service report records.

The position is available for immediate start.
Full-time position.
Range Salary $69,000 - $90,000 per year (salary is negotiable).
