Position: Motor Mechanic – Full-Time
Salary: $76,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Truganina. This role involves hands-on servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose, repair, and maintain petrol and diesel engines, transmissions, and related vehicle systems.
2. Perform general servicing, including oil changes, filters, brake checks, suspension, and steering system repairs.
3. Use electronic diagnostic equipment and manual testing methods to identify mechanical faults.
4. Dismantle and reassemble engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components as required.
5. Replace or repair worn and defective parts with precision and efficiency.
6. Conduct road tests to ensure repairs meet safety and performance standards.
7. Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and repair documentation.
8. Ensure compliance with WHS standards and maintain a safe, clean workshop environment.
9. Collaborate with other team members to meet service and repair deadlines.
10. Provide clear communication to clients about vehicle issues and repair requirements.

Skills & Experience
1. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification).
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Motor Mechanic.
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work with both manual tools and advanced diagnostic equipment.
5. Sound knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
7. Effective teamwork and communication skills.
8. Current Australian driver’s licence.
