Motor Mechanic (General)
Location: Caulfield North, VIC 3161
Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week
Pay: A$76,515.00 per year

We are seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic (General) to join our team.

Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in engines and related components.
Disassemble and remove engine units, transmissions, steering systems, and other vehicle parts for inspection.
Repair or replace faulty and worn components, reassemble mechanical systems, and consult service manuals where necessary.
Carry out scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups, to optimise performance and meet emissions standards.
Reassemble engines and components following repairs.
Test and fine-tune mechanical systems after repairs to ensure correct operation.
Use diagnostic equipment and computer systems to assess and troubleshoot vehicle components.
Inspect vehicles to determine roadworthiness, and when authorised, issue certificates or advise on required repairs.
Attend to roadside breakdowns and provide repair assistance where required.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent)
Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment and service manuals
Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
