We are Imagine Going There Travel, a boutique US-based travel agency that produces a monthly 4-page client newsletter in both print and digital formats. We are looking for a reliable, long-term freelancer who can take full ownership of the monthly production on a fixed price per issue. This is a recurring job (one newsletter per month). What You’ll Do Each Month 1. Design a 4-page newsletter in InDesign (using our internal template) • Insert new written sections that we provide • Place photos and adjust layout • Maintain clean, elegant, travel-inspired design • Export both print-ready and web-optimized PDFs 2. Conduct one short client interview (Tales From Our Sails section) • Friendly 15–20 minute Zoom or phone call • Follow a simple, structured question set • Write a warm 200–300 word client feature based on their story 3. Coordinate with a US-based printer • Upload the print-ready PDF • Confirm print specs and mailing details • Approve digital proofs (Note: This step is fully online; you do NOT need to live in the United States.) What We Provide • All written content except the one client story • All photos • Client contact info for the interview • Access to our print vendor or instructions for submission • The newsletter template after hiring Requirements • Strong Adobe InDesign skills • Experience designing print-ready layouts • Comfortable speaking English for a brief client interview • Ability to write in a warm, friendly, travel-focused tone • Familiarity with CMYK, bleeds, export settings • Reliable turnaround time each month • Professional communication Deliverables • One completed 4-page newsletter (InDesign layout) • One 200–300 word client story • Print-ready PDF (CMYK, bleed) • Web-optimized PDF (RGB) • Submission to US printer and proof approval Fixed Price Please submit your fixed price per completed newsletter covering all tasks (layout, interview, write-up, two exports, and coordinating with the printer). We are open to international applicants.
