About the role: The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to manage and grow our Moneycare services across Queensland. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centred financial wellbeing services that are inclusive, accessible, and grounded in best-practice. As the Moneycare Manager for Queensland, you will oversee service delivery, operational performance, and team leadership within the state. Reporting to national leadership, you will ensure alignment with the national practice framework and contribute to the strategic direction of Moneycare services across Australia. How You Will Make an Impact: Lead, develop and manage Moneycare service delivery and operations across Queensland Ensure services are holistic, strengths-based, and responsive to the needs of diverse communities Oversee practice governance, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, funding and service standards Develop, implement and continuously improve systems and processes to support program delivery Provide professional and line management supervision to all staff, ensuring accreditation and professional standards are met Lead financial planning and budget management for the state Represent The Salvation Army in relevant networks, forums and collaborative partnerships Contribute to national strategy through participation in leadership forums and implementation of national initiatives Drive quality improvement through data-driven evaluation and stakeholder feedback What You Will Bring: A degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or a related discipline OR substantial sector experience with high-level knowledge and skill Demonstrated experience in managing social services, including leading teams and supervising staff Strong knowledge and experience in financial counselling, financial inclusion, and related support services A demonstrated commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and client-centred practice Proven ability to build effective partnerships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Strong financial acumen and experience managing program budgets Compliance Requirement Eligibility to work with children under relevant QLD legislation (Blue Card or equivalent) This role requires that you are not an undischarged bankrupt, not subject to a composition, deed of arrangement, or deed of assignment with creditors under bankruptcy law, and have not suffered final judgment for a debt that remains unsatisfied.
