Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Farm Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position involves field operations, machinery management, and crop production, and offers a genuine career path within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting of summer and winter crops
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate a range of farm machinery (tractors, sprayers, seeders, harvesters)
• Monitor crop health, pest/disease presence, and soil conditions
• Maintain records for crop activities, machinery use, and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards
• Support general farm upkeep, including fencing, shed maintenance, and irrigation system care

Skills and Experience Required
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in broadacre cropping (essential)
• Skilled in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, fertiliser application, and crop protection methods
• Ability to assess crop and soil conditions and take proactive steps
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable working in variable outdoor conditions
• High attention to safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency

Licences and Qualifications
• Australian Driver’s Licence (required)
• MC Truck Licence (desirable)
• Chemical handling certification (desirable)
• Formal agricultural qualifications (desirable but not essential)

Employment Package
• Salary: $68,800 – $78,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience
• Superannuation in accordance with Australian legislation
• On-farm accommodation and work vehicle may be provided (conditions apply)
