Our client, H Randhawa & P Randhawa, is seeking an Experienced Mixed Crop Farmer to join their farming operation. This role offers the opportunity to work with responsibilities including planting, cultivating, harvesting, and managing farm machinery and equipment. Job Responsibility:
• Plans, organises, controls, coordinates and performs farming operations to grow banana

Duties:
• Ensure optimum production through proper cultivation methods;
• Ensure that banana production meets all contractual agreements;
• Ensure that fields are ready for planting harvest taking into account environmental and market factors;
• Hire, train and supervise farming staff such as technicians, pickers and pruners.
• Maintain accurate records;
• Oversee all farming operations such as picking, grading and packaging of products;
• Select seeds and bulbs suitable for the area;
• Planning and coordinating the production of banana;
• Monitoring and maintaining the health and condition of plants;
• Directing and overseeing general farming activities such as fertilising and pest and weed control;

Qualification:
• AQF Bachelor or Higher
• 3-5 years of experience in related field
• At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification

Salary:
• $60,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation
