Job Description A rare opportunity has become available for an accomplished Mining Manager to lead our mining team. This is a pivotal executive role, responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable outcomes while driving operational excellence and strategic growth. Reporting into the Operations Manager/SSE, you will provide visionary leadership across all facets of mining, including truck and shovel operations, mine services, and operational drill and blast. We’re seeking a Mining Manager who inspires their team, provides strong leadership, drives innovation and delivers results with safety, sustainability and compliance at the core. The role Lead with integrity, setting the strategic direction for operational success, Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations, Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost performance, Partner with senior leadership to deliver on corporate objectives and long term mine plans, and Engage stakeholders and build strong relationships with workforce, community, and industry partners. About you Willing to obtain your coal Surface Mine Manager (SMM) certificate of competency by the legislated date, Proven success in a senior operational leadership role within open cut coal mining, Strong record of delivering results in safety, production, and cost management, Strategic acumen with the ability to translate vision into execution, and Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
