Technology Management Solutions (TMS) is seeking a Microsoft Solutions Architect with expertise in end-to-end solution design and implementation for small professional services businesses. You’ll architect and deploy modern Microsoft environments covering collaboration, work management, business intelligence, and automation—delivering enterprise-grade capability to SME clients. Responsibilities: * Design and implement Microsoft 365 and Azure-based solutions for small-to-mid professional service firms * Build integrated systems across identity (Entra ID), collaboration (Teams), document management (SharePoint), and endpoint management (Intune) * Set up and configure Microsoft Project or alternative work/project management tools suited to client needs * Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, including data source integration and visualisation of operational metrics * Implement business process automation using Power Automate and the Power Platform * Integrate Microsoft tools with third-party systems (CRMs, time tracking, task management) * Conduct client discovery sessions and create architecture plans with security, scalability, and usability in mind * Guide best practice around Teams governance, SharePoint structure, security baselines, and user experience * Document all configurations and provide staff training and handover * Support post-go-live improvements, licensing management, and technology roadmaps Required Skills: * Proven experience designing Microsoft 365 and Azure-based solutions for SMEs * Strong understanding of SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Azure AD (Entra ID) * Hands-on experience with Power BI for building client dashboards and reporting systems * Work/project management solution design (e.g. MS Project, Planner, or integrated alternatives) * Workflow automation using Power Automate, Forms, and the broader Power Platform * Experience integrating Microsoft tools with CRMs and service delivery systems * Experience with Google Docs, Slack, Jira, Confluence and Draw.io collaboration tools * Excellent written and spoken English Desirable Experience: * Licensing optimisation and security configuration for M365 * Microsoft certifications (MS-100, MS-101, AZ-104, PL-900, etc.) * Familiarity with legal, consulting, planning, or accounting firms * Hybrid and migration project experience Engagement: * Available Sydney Australia business hours * Remote work using GoogleMeet, Slack, Jira * Variable hours per week depending on project needs * Long-term relationship preferred To Apply: Please include: * Examples of Microsoft-based environments you’ve designed and implemented * Your experience with BI, project management systems, and workflow automation * A brief outline of how you’d modernise a small professional services business using the Microsoft stack
