We are seeking a skilled Metal Machinist/CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team, contributing to the production of high-quality sheet metal products used in our innovative storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Metal Machinist/CNC Press Brake Operator at Storemasta, you will operator and setup computed numerically controlled (CNC) press brake machines to fabricate precision sheet metal components.

* Machine Operation and Setup: Operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal into specific shapes, and select appropriate tooling based on material types and thickness.
* Blueprint and Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine correct and accurate production components.
* Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts to ensure that the dimensional tolerances and quality standards are met.
* Tool and Machine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on press brake machines and tools and perform preventive maintenance.
* Precision Machining: Perform precision machining tasks, such as drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing and thread chasing.
* Material Handling: Load and unload material onto the press break machine and ensure proper alignment
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations.
* Production Efficiency: Ensure machines operate at full capacity, optimize production output while maintaining quality standards.
* Collaboration: Work as a part of team, communicate effectively to ensure smooth production workflows.

Skills and Qualifications

* Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; Trade qualifications in Machining is highly desirable.
* At least 2 years of experience working as a CNC machine operator, Metal fabrication, Machining or any related field.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
* Strong understanding of CNC machine operation is highly desirable.
* Meticulous and detail oriented with good physical condition to handle materials and operate machinery.
* Experience with manual lathe machining, familiarity with other CNC machinery is highly desirable.
* Strong communications skills and the ability to work individually and within a team.

The selected candidate will be receiving a salary within the range of $35 – $40 per hour.
