We are the only company manufacturing an extensive range of standard tanks in steel and fiberglass for underground and above ground applications.

About the Role

Tank Solutions is currently looking for Metal Fabricators whose main responsibilities are to ensure all tanks, tank components and accessories are manufactured to specific codes and drawings and company quality standards within the time frame required.

Responsibilities of the Metal Fabricators include:

* Manufacturing of steel tanks, accessories, and components
* Using machines and hand tools for bending and shaping materials
* Tank fit out
* Join metal sections using various welding techniques
* Cleaning and testing tanks
* Interpretation of drawings and blueprints
* Report any problems and issues to Production Foreman (Steel)
* Participate in trainings and meetings, as required

Qualifications of the role include:

* At least 3 years of experience working in the related role – highly desired.
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication
* Able to fabricate and finish materials to a high standard of workmanship
* Able to under and interpret engineering and construction drawings
* Positive “can do” attitude and ability to work well in a team
* Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 commensurate to skills and experience
