About the Role

We are currently seeking a Metal Fabricator to join our Cobram Plant. We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to the position and providing an effective professional service. This role will be responsible for providing maintenance support to all areas across the plant to ensure the attainment of Production, Quality/FSQA, and Workplace Health and Safety requirements and objectives. This is a full-time position with the annual salary more than $76,515.00 plus superannuation.

Responsibilities:

Ensure WH&S standards are complied with at all times.
Perform metal repairs, general fabrication and welding to a high-quality standard.
Design, draw and fabricate own work.
Read and understand schematics and specifications to determine job requirements.
Complete tasks to a high standard while managing and adhering to timelines.
Maintain workshop and job housekeeping standards.

Criteria:
Fabricator trade qualifications and post-trade experience of a minimum of two years.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Effective and efficient fault finding and diagnostic skills.
A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices.
A thorough understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
A thorough understanding and knowledge of WHS regulations/procedures.
