Furphy Galvanizing are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Metal Fabricator to join their team in Shepparton VIC.

Tasks:
- Interpreting blueprints, planning project timelines, selecting materials, and executing fabrication tasks to meet project requirements efficiently
- Cutting and shaping metal pieces using shears, plasma cutters, torches, and other metal-shaping tools
- Assembling and welding metal components to form structures
- Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that the conform to specifications and are free from defects
- Applying protective finishes to metal piece
- Collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot issues and adjust fabrication methods as needed
- Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills & Attributes:

- At least 3 years’ experience as a welder or related trade
- Cert III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
- Proficiency in MIG, Arc and Flux core welding
 

Salary range is $66,000 - $80,000pa commensurate with experience
