About One Bison One Bison is a fast-growing marketplace for American-made, veteran-owned, faith-based, and values-aligned businesses. We are building a real alternative—a place where consumers can shop with businesses that share their principles. We are early-stage and moving quickly. The Role We are looking for a Finisher who will grow into a Relationship Manager. Hundreds of businesses have claimed their profile but have not yet gone live. Your responsibility is to call these merchants, build a relationship, and get them fully active. After a merchant goes live, you become their primary point of contact for support, best practices, and growth. This is not cold calling. You will be contacting business owners who have already engaged with One Bison and who want assistance getting set up, but simply need help completing the process. Responsibilities 1. Outbound Activation (The Hunter) You will call verified companies that have stalled in the onboarding process. Your objective is to collect the information and assets needed to get their first product or deal published. When a business owner is busy or hesitant, you take ownership of the process and remove friction so they can go live quickly. 2. Concierge Merchant Success You are responsible for ensuring that each merchant you work with goes live and that their profile looks professional. When small fixes are needed, such as adjusting an image or formatting content, you handle these tasks yourself. You become the trusted point of contact for these businesses and the voice they rely on. 3. Inbound Response and Email Management One Bison uses automated onboarding email sequences. When merchants reply to these emails with questions or partial information, you take over, resolve their issues, and guide them toward completing their profile. 4. Growth and Upselling (The Farmer) After a merchant becomes active, you manage their long-term success. As One Bison introduces premium tools such as Featured Placement, Ads, or Subscription tiers, you will introduce these upgrades to the merchants who are most likely to benefit. Your goal is to help merchants grow while also turning free profiles into Partner-level accounts. Requirements 1. US-Based (Non-Negotiable) You must be located within the United States and have excellent conversational English. 2. Fearless on the Phone You must be comfortable calling busy small-business owners and able to make twenty or more calls per day to move merchants forward. 3. Operational and Tech-Savvy You should be capable of solving simple technical issues yourself, such as resizing images, formatting files, or uploading products. You handle merchant-facing tasks so that our CTO can focus on building the platform. 4. Cultural Alignment You must be comfortable speaking with patriotic, Christian, veteran-owned, conservative, and family-owned businesses. You build rapport quickly and naturally with people from these communities. Success Metrics 1. Activation Rate The percentage of stalled accounts that go live after your outreach. 2. Speed to Live How quickly you are able to activate merchants. 3. Merchant Health The long-term engagement, retention, and eventual upgrade potential of the merchants you manage.
