We are looking for a Merchandise Planner to analyse sales trends, forecast demand, and plan inventory to ensure product availability. The role involves working with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to optimise stock and support growth. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and market insight are essential.

Position Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Track and interpret sales performance to spot emerging flavour trends, customer preferences, and seasonal demand shifts.
• Develop data-backed merchandise plans that align with business goals, using financial insights to guide stock and sales strategies.
• Act as a key connector between the marketing, sales, and buying teams to ensure product strategies align with consumer demand.
• Create sales and inventory forecasts to support margin targets and ensure product availability without overstocking.
• Oversee product flow across retail and wholesale channels, ensuring the right flavours are delivered on time and in the right quantities.
• Monitor inventory levels at key locations, adjusting allocations to optimise sell-through rates and minimise waste.
• Partner with planning and buying teams to set annual targets for sales, margins, and stock movement, driving strategic growth.
• Work closely with logistics and inventory teams to maintain stock health and support efficient distribution of Pure Pops products.
• Keep product forecasts up to date during the season, using store feedback and sales data to inform adjustments.
• Collaborate with pricing and merchandising stakeholders to ensure aligned decision-making and a unified go-to-market approach.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant Qualification
• Minimum 1 year of experience within related field.
• Sound knowledge of Business Administration and retail purchasing.
• Good interpersonal and management skills, staff planning, teamworking skills, communication skills, leadership skills, organisational skills.
• Negotiation Skills, commercial awareness, confidence, able to cope with pressure, decision-making skills.
• MS Office and MS Operating System, IT skills, strong numerical and analytical skills.

Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between: $75,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
