Our client is an industry leading agribusiness with sophisticated the operations located in Moe and surrounds. They are currently looking to fill 100 meat Process positions to work in the abattoir, with work commencing from September 2025 onwards.
You are required to work in meat processing environment. You are not afraid of getting your hands dirty. You will be a team player who is physically fit and more than able to handle heavy lifting.
You will be paid under Meat Industry Award – Level 1, an hourly rate of $24.28 per hour, with a minimum of 38 hours of work, per week. This will be aligned with the Fair Work Commission's annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay. You will be offered between 1-4 years of work with potential to upskill.
Key duties include:
We are currently recruiting for full-time labourers. Meat processing / butchery requires teamwork, discipline, alertness, physical fitness and strength of mind and body. All employees are required to comply with all safety, quality and production requirements. All successful applicants will undergo a physical functional capabilities assessment and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. All sites are drug & alcohol free sites and all employees are Q-fever and Covid 19 vaccinated.
You Will Have
• Previous experience in meat processing would be preferred but not essential.
• Knife handling skills, including sharpening, to ensure muscular skeletal injuries are eliminated.
• Commitment and reliability ensuring you complete your shifts as rostered.
• Demonstrable safe working skills.

• Live locally or be happy to relocate to Moe

• Able to follow directions and work unsupervised whilst showing high levels of initiative
• A team player and happy working with a multicultural team
