Subway Meats are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Meat Boner and Slicer to join their team in Wingfield SA.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Remove bones from various cuts of meat including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry using knives and meat hooks.
- Cut and trim meat cuts to remove fat, defects, and blemishes, ensuring uniformity and quality.
- Examine meat for bruises, blood clots, or foreign material and trim accordingly to prepare for further processing.
- Accurately weigh and portion meat cuts for packaging or further processing.
- Classify meat cuts based on type, quality, and intended use.
- Sharpen and maintain knives and cutting tools to ensure efficiency and safety
- Operate and maintain deboning equipment and machinery used in meat processing plants.
- Follow strict hygiene protocols and food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Use protective gear and follow safety procedures to prevent injuries in a cold, fast-paced environment.

Skills & Attributes
- Must have minimum 3 years experience as a Meat Boner and slicer
- Certificate III in meat processing?or relevant
- OH&S awareness
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Record keeping
- Manual dexterity
- Food safety knowledge

Salary range is $65,000-$80,000pa commensurate with experience
