The Role
We have a truly exceptional opportunity for a passionate Massage and Exercise Specialist, to elevate our offerings to members and guests. Reporting to the Fitness Centre Manager, you will provide massage therapy and rehabilitation services in addition to personal training and group exercise classes.

Key Responsibilities will include:
• Provide massage therapies to maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or enhance wellbeing
• Provide advice on how to manage or improve soft tissue conditions
• Assess member/guest injuries and conditions based on history and provide suitable therapy choices to meet needs
• Design sessions around client’s specific complaints or problem areas
• Plan and conduct weekly Personal Training and Group Exercise Classes to meet the needs of members
• Provide members with education, understanding and corrections on the use of the Fitness Centre equipment

Essential Requirements:
• A minimum of two years massage experience
• Diploma of Remedial Massage
• Professional and public liability insurance
• Health Fund Provider number for major health funds
• Association recognition with AAMT or AMT
• Minimum Certificate IV or higher in Fitness
• Registered with Fitness Australia/ FITREC
• Pool Lifeguard Certification
• Current Senior First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation certifications
• Qualified Group Fitness Instructor (free style)
• Clearance to work with children via the Working with Children Check
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fitness industry or similar role
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills

Salary Range: $77,000-$80,000
