The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring marketing strategies to support business growth, brand awareness, and lead generation. This role combines market research, campaign management, digital marketing, and strategic advisory functions to ensure alignment with company objectives and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Planning
• Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
• Advise management on product positioning, pricing, promotional campaigns, and distribution channels
• Plan, develop, and organize advertising policies and campaigns to support sales objectives
• Provide insights and recommendations on marketing initiatives to improve ROI and brand visibility
Market Research & Analysis
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities, analyse trends, and monitor competitor activity
• Research potential demand and market characteristics for new goods and services
• Apply statistical modelling and data analysis to determine the impact of pricing strategies and marketing initiatives
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
• Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, SEO/SEM, CRM-based outreach, and paid advertising
• Create, schedule, and publish marketing content on LinkedIn, social media platforms, and company websites
• Analyse performance metrics from campaigns and provide actionable insights to optimize engagement, conversions, and search engine metrics
• Conduct SDR and cold-calling for lead generation purposes
Advertising & Promotional Activities
• Coordinate production of marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, presentations, advertisements, and campaigns
• Advise executives and clients on advertising strategies to reach target markets and effectively promote products/services
• Plan and coordinate corporate events, webinars, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility
• Ensure compliance with Australian advertising standards and corporate policies
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with internal teams ( sales, product, IT ) to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment
• Support business growth through the execution of marketing objectives, policies, and programs
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market and consumer data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with marketing platforms and tools ( e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, CRM systems )
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Creative thinking coupled with strategic business insight
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field ( AQF Level 7 or higher )
• Minimum 3 – 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in marketing, preferably in IT or digital services
• Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and achieving measurable results across digital and traditional channels
