Racer Australia is an Automotive Parts and Accessories Wholesaler located in Tullamarine, Melbourne and operating in Australia for over 30 years. The key sales market being exporting to the Pacific Islands dealing with government entities and auto parts resellers, workshops and fleet operators. Racer Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a marketer to take up the Marketing Specialist role in our business on a full-time permanent basis.
The Marketing Specialist is generalist marketing role responsible for the creation and implementation of some a great marketing strategy. The role has a heavy focus on expanding the export market opportunities in the Pacific Islands. marketing planning, preparing updated product catalogues and creating new and better sales policies to capture a larger market share of the company’s products and services. To be successful in this role you need to be thorough and have fantastic attention to detail and love being organised.
About the role
• Manage, develop and execute the marketing policies & strategies, marketing campaigns including update of Racer product catalogue & associated administration tasks
• Work in cohesion with the sales team to identify and strengthen market opportunities
• Look after promotional marketing activity and promote the business to expand and develop new markets for Racer products
• Manage and execute the Racer brand marketing program to enhance product and create greater market awareness for Racer
• Design and implement different market activities and policies to promote the sales and growth of the business
• Analyse client data to shape better customer preferences and forecasting market trends and building strategies to suit
• Exploring market demand for new products and services to complement the existing products & working to introducing these new items
• Notify clients on the promotional campaigns to tap and maximise target markets to increase market share on Racer products
• Carry out market research to identify the opportunities for new potential markets and to increase sales with existing clients
• Investigate all marketing activities that can help and promote greater sales and create policies and strategies to tap this
• Support sales growth with customer retention and loyalty programmes campaigns
• Reporting to management with new and improved marketing policies and strategies to develop a stronger presence in the market
• Development of campaign evaluations identifying marketing performance and return on investment for the owners.
• Other supplementary tasks as required

About you
• Tertiary qualifications with Master degree in Business management, marketing or equivalent
• preferred
• Must have experience in a marketing role
• Have experience in Automotive field
• Have a good understating of Pacific Islands & geographical location
• Travel experience to Pacific Islands an advantage
• Have experience in export sales related activities
• You have strong attention to detail – nothing gets past you!
• You have strong time management and planning skills – you love being organised!
• You thrive in a busy environment and have a strong work ethic
• You love marketing and working with sales teams
• You are customer orientated in everything you do
• Writing skills including internal communications and marketing materials would be a bonus
• Demonstrated experience in advertising and marketing
• Demonstrated experience executing campaigns from end-to-end including scoping, briefing, execution, optimisation and post analysis and evaluation
• Passion for learning and the ability to transfer that passion and learning to others
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across various locations and business areas
• Ability to plan and pursue challenging goals whilst successfully managing competing priorities
• Fantastic communication skills
• Be Proficient in Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office
• Be proficient in the use of cutting-edge marketing tools
