  • A new opportunity for an experienced marketing specialist to join us at Starbucks Australia!
  • Life as a Marketing & Digital Specialist
  • As the Marketing & Digital specialist you will play a pivotal role within the Marketing & Product team across all aspects of Marketing & Digital strategy including brand and customer communications and campaign planning/execution including social media and instore.
  • You will hold day to day responsibility for managing social media and digital channels including 3rd party delivery, eCommerce and mobile ordering. You will hold relationships with key cross functional internal and external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals with the Marketing Communications Manager and GM of Marketing & Product.
  • Identify target audiences and devise digital campaigns that engage, inform, and convert customers

Campaign Management

  • Collaboratively plan, execute, and optimise marketing campaigns across various channels, including print, social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM)
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI and achieve KPI’s.

Content Creation and Management

  • Create compelling and relevant content for digital and social channels, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and values.
  • Manage content calendars and coordinate content creation with internal teams and external agencies.

Social Media Management

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to build brand presence and engage with the target audiences.
  • Monitor social media trends and competition, recommending adjustments to the strategy as needed.
  • Community management

Email Marketing & Personalisation

  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain email lists, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilise analytics tools to track and report on the performance of digital & social marketing efforts.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and for cross-business visibility

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, property, customer service and human resource, to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, keeping them informed about campaign progress and results.

  • Manage and maintain product and marketing assets within the Starbucks Australia App environment
  • Manage and maintain product and promotions within third party delivery partners and Starbucks ecommerce platform

About you

  • 3+ years of marketing experience including social media and digital channel management
  • Bachelor of Marketing or Business with Marketing major or relevant discipline (preferred)
  • Confident, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly developed communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience within Retail, QSR or hospitality environment preferred Passion for coffee, food and retail

We’ve based in Collingwood, with expansive end-of-trip facilities (all shower amenities soaps & towels included), concierge services with dry-cleaning and parcel collection provided, and current building works for our very own Starbucks café on-site. We work on a hybrid model with 3 days in office, 2 from home.
