Inspire and guide a team of skilled operators Join Australia’s leading FMCG company Excellent learning and growth opportunities The Role Our Crestmead dairy site near Logan, south of Brisbane, manufactures and distributes a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from 35 dairy farms in the south-east Queensland region. Producing around 100 million litres of product per year! The Manufacturing Team Leader position involves managing a skilled and high-performance team of 10 operators. The focus is on achieving targets related to quality, safety, cost, and environmental impact. This role is for the afternoon shift, currently working from 2 PM to midnight on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Responsibilities Support and develop team members to achieve goals and build a self-driven, empowered culture. Address issues with thoughtful problem-solving and a focus on positive outcomes. Identify and act on opportunities to enhance processes and performance. Uphold food safety, environmental, and manufacturing compliance with care and consistency. Promote best practices through a continuous improvement mindset. About you Background in manufacturing or a related field (formal qualifications welcome but not essential) Proven experience leading teams and achieving production goals in FMCG environments Strong understanding of process improvement and problem-solving techniques Commitment to safe work practices and hazard awareness Clear, supportive communicator who helps others grow and succeed Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
