Manager, Regional Housing (Contract)
Ready to lead a high-impact initiative that will make a real difference? My client is looking for a Manager, Regional Housing to drive a critical 12-month pilot program focused on improving teacher housing across Queensland. This is your chance to play a key role in a government department's teacher attraction and retention strategy. This is a temporary contract role until June 30, 2026, with a pay rate of $92.06 per hour.
Your Opportunity to Lead and Innovate
As the Manager, you will be the driving force behind the design, implementation, and delivery of this new program. You'll lead a dispersed team of Regional Housing Coordinators and Administration Support Officers , ensuring the program delivers tangible results and reduces the administrative workload on schools.
This role is all about building relationships and shaping the future. You'll work closely with regional offices and key stakeholders to create a new model for teacher housing management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership: Set the vision for the pilot program and align its outcomes with the department's priorities.
Driving Results: Oversee the delivery of essential housing support services and ensure the program achieves its goals.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with school leaders, industrial representatives, and other stakeholders.
Sound Governance: Ensure all program operations are compliant with tenancy legislation and departmental policies, while proactively managing risks.
Team Leadership: Lead and support a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
