Do work that matters You will be an essential part of the Group’s Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team who is accountable for the development, implementation, and ongoing leadership of the group’s financial crime shared services. See yourself in the team As a Manager in the FCC Assurance team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the CBA Group against financial crime risks by providing independent assurance. This role goes beyond traditional compliance by leveraging data analytics, automation, and AI-driven insights to enhance assurance activities, identify emerging risks, and drive continuous improvement. On any given day, you will: Conduct data-driven reviews using advanced analytics to identify anomalies, trends, and control weaknesses. Support the development of AI-enabled monitoring frameworks to proactively detect financial crime risks. Drive the adoption of visualisation tools and dashboards to support reporting of assurance outcomes. Identify opportunities to digitise and automate assurance processes, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and AI applications supporting financial crime compliance We are interested in hearing from people who have: Proven experience in data analytics, visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and scripting languages (Python, SQL) Proven experience within an assurance, audit or similar function, preferably with exposure to the banking and finance industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
